Terms of Service.

These Terms govern the EPIRIPTO mobile application and epiripto.com. By using the service, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.

EPIRIPTO is operated by Archetype Individual LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company operating from York, South Carolina, United States. Contact us at support@epiripto.com.

Eligibility and availability

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter these Terms. You are responsible for accurate account information and for activity under your account.

EPIRIPTO's initial App Store availability is limited to the United States and Mexico. Availability in a store does not change mandatory rights that apply where you live.

What EPIRIPTO provides

EPIRIPTO offers prayer, Scripture, reflection, spiritual-formation, reminder, sharing, and account features. Some prayers come from a reviewed fixed library; others may be generated with AI assistance from information you provide. Features and availability may change as the service develops.

Spiritual, health, and safety boundaries

EPIRIPTO is a spiritual-formation tool. It is not a church, pastor, confessor, therapist, doctor, emergency service, or substitute for professional care. Generated output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate and is not Scripture or authoritative religious instruction. Review it with Scripture, sound judgment, and trusted Christian community.

No person continuously monitors prayer entries. If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service.

Accounts and privacy

You may begin with a pseudonymous account and link a sign-in method where offered. Keep access to your device and account secure. Our handling of personal information, including sensitive prayer content, is described in the Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and billing

The App includes one AI-assisted personalized prayer before purchase. It is not a free trial: it does not enroll you, charge you, or automatically convert to a paid plan.

Continued paid access is offered through monthly or annual auto-renewing subscriptions shown in the App. Apple or Google handles billing, prices, taxes, renewals, cancellations, and eligible refunds under the terms of the store used for purchase. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled through the applicable store before renewal. Deleting the App or your EPIRIPTO account does not cancel a store subscription. You can restore an eligible purchase in the App.

Your content

You retain ownership of material you submit. You give Archetype Individual LLC a limited license to host, transmit, process, reproduce, and display it only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service and follow your sharing choices. You represent that you have the right to submit and share the material. Avoid entering information about another person that you do not have permission to use.

Acceptable use

Do not use EPIRIPTO unlawfully; harass, exploit, or threaten others; upload malicious code; interfere with security or operation; scrape or reverse engineer the service except where law permits; impersonate another person; misuse reports or sharing; or submit content that infringes another person's rights. We may restrict access needed to protect users, the service, or legal obligations.

Intellectual property

The App, website, design, software, trademarks, and original materials belong to Archetype Individual LLC or its licensors. Scripture translations, historic prayers, quotations, artwork, and other third-party material remain subject to their respective rights and notices. These Terms grant a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use EPIRIPTO for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Third-party services

Apple, Google, Supabase, Anthropic, Voyage AI, RevenueCat, and linked resources have their own terms. We are not responsible for independent third-party services, though we remain responsible for our obligations under applicable law.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, correct errors, or update these Terms. We will give notice of material changes when appropriate. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the service and cancel any subscription through the store.

Termination and deletion

You may stop using EPIRIPTO and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, security risk, legal requirement, or harm to the service or another person. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions. See the deletion instructions.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EPIRIPTO is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free output, a particular spiritual result, or that generated material will be accurate or suitable for your circumstances. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Archetype Individual LLC and its members, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from EPIRIPTO. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Governing law and disputes

South Carolina law governs these Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Contact support@epiripto.com so we can try to resolve a concern. These Terms do not require arbitration. Except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, the state courts located in York County, South Carolina, and the federal courts serving York County have exclusive jurisdiction and venue. Each party may bring a claim only in its individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in a purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights, remedies, or access to a court available under applicable law.

Apple-specific terms

If you use the iOS App, these Terms are between you and Archetype Individual LLC, not Apple. Apple has no duty to provide maintenance or support and is not responsible for the App or related claims, except as required by law. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
